(MUNCIE) - Ball State University has authorized two new charter schools to open in Anderson and Marion in the fall of 2008.
Anderson Preparatory Academy will serve approximately 200 students in grades 6-8. The school will add one grade a year until it serves up to 500 students in grades 6-12.
In addition, Dr. Robert H. Faulkner academy will serve approximately 158 at-risk students in Marion in grades K-5.
The school will ultimately serve 220 K-7 students by 2012.
