State's BMV Plates Raise Money For I.U.
(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana University vanity license plates sold by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles are generating scholarship funds for I.U. students.
This year alone, a portion of the revenue generated by the sale of the plates has provided $23,000 in scholarships for I.U. students.
The Indiana University Alumni Association is benefiting from the funds and depends entirely from the sales to provide the scholarships. The I.U. plate is the most popular collegiate license plate in Indiana.
