Avery Fisher Award Winner Joins I.U. School Of Music

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana University School of Music has announced an alum and violin virtuoso will be joining the faculty at the Jacobs School of Music.
Joshua Bell recently won the Avery Fisher prize -- one of the most significant honors which can be bestowed on a classical musician.
Bell will initially spend a week at a time in Bloomington as he continues to perform about 120 concerts a year. He'll primarily work as a lecturer in the strings department.
