(UNDATED) - Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana trustees have unanimously approved Tom Snyder as the institution’s next president.
Snyder was approved as president last month after a lengthy discussion by trustees in an executive session. However, the Indiana Public Access Counselor ruled the vote violated the state's open door law because trustees conducted two polls on whether to hire Snyder while in the private meeting.
Snyder will assume his new duties on July 1st.
