(MUNCIE) - Ball State University in Muncie is the latest college looking to make its campus smoke-free.

The school's Smokefree Indiana team, made up of nine students and two faculty advisors, has increased campus awareness of its efforts to make the campus smoke-free.

Critics of the measure say Ball State already has restrictions in place such as the 30-foot policy, which keeps smokers away from doorways. Purdue University has a similar policy in place.

If Ball State decides to go completely smoke-free, they'll join IUPUI and IU East.
