Purdue Receives Money To Build New Institute
(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Purdue University has confirmed that it is the recipient of a 100 million dollar gift from the Alfred E. Mann Foundation for biomedical engineering.
The funds will help establish the Alfred Mann Institute and expedite the commercialization of biomedical technologies.
The institute, which will be housed at Purdue's discovery park, will help identify about two new biomedical projects per year, growing to as many as six ongoing projects when in full operation.
