(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University officials hope a new recruiting effort will help persuade high school students to pursue their education at IU.
Roger Thompson is Vice Provost for Enrollment Management. He says the school has begun sending out an estimated 11,000 post cards to Indiana students who have been accepted to IU.
Thompson says the post cards have already generated what he called a "wow" factor among students thinking about IU. He says while he hopes for an increased interest in the school, but says anything much beyond a two percent increase in admissions could actually make for too large of a freshman class.
