Ivy Tech To Vote On A New School President

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Ivy Tech Community College trustees will this afternoon meet in executive session at the Conrad hotel in Downtown Indianapolis to vote on the school’s new president.

The trustees are expected to hold a public meeting to announce their decision. However, "The Indianapolis Star" is reporting that top aides to the governor were encouraging at least some trustees to delay the vote, which has been controversial since a selection committee recently chose two finalists for the job who have no ties to the college.
