Educators Look For Affordable Education Solutions

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Technology experts and teachers from across Indiana converged on IUPUI on Tuesday to talk about new, more affordable ways to educate kids.
Indiana Superintendent of Education Doctor Suellen Reed says the key is to utilize new technology to provide more options for both kids and teachers.
During the conference, Reed and teachers got a look at the "$100 laptop," invented at M.I.T. for kids in underdeveloped countries, as a way to get access to more information. Reed says some of these laptops are already in schools across Indiana.
