McRobbie To Be Announced As Next IU President

(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University is set to name current Provost Michael McRobbie its next president.
McRobbie took the interim position on the Bloomington campus in June of last year, after having helped develop the school's information technology program as early as 1997. The process of replacing outgoing president Adam Herbert came down to McRobbie and riley hospital for children CEO Ora Pescovitz.
A news conference officially announcing McRobbie as Herbert's successor is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
