(INDIANAPOLIS) - A video analysis laboratory will open today at the University of Indianapolis.

The lab will be a top training site for criminal investigators from around the world. Law enforcement personnel from North America and Europe will gather in the morning for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a demonstration of the lab's technology.

Speakers and participants in the ceremony will include Ellen Quigley, Deputy Mayor of Indianapolis; Scott Kuntz, Vice Chairman of LEVA; and Dr. Beverley Pitts, President of the University of Indianapolis.

Also attending will be representatives of the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, the FBI'S Indiana office, the Marion County Prosecutor's Office and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

After the ceremony, LEVA's top instructor will demonstrate how closed-circuit video and other media can be analyzed to uncover evidence in criminal investigations.
