(BEDFORD) - The North Lawrence Community Schools Board of Trustees was treated to reports from seven of the eight exchange students attending Bedford North Lawrence High School.

The students come from all over the globe. Two are from Brazil, 2 from Sweden, one from Germany, whom joked about living in Williams with his host family, one from Armenia, and another from Australia.

Robert Lee, III, from Bedford, spoke about being an exchange student in Brazil. He spoke about going to a private school and living with his host family. He said the home had 10 servants.

The others expressed how sports here was more emotional than in their countries. Team spirit was much higher here than at their home countries. Most have about another year of schooling before heading back to their native homes.
