Middle School Teachers Update School Board
(BEDFORD) - Several teacher representatives from the middle schools in Bedford, Oolitic and Shawswick were at last night’s North Lawrence Community Schools Board of Trustees meeting.
Pat Bolton presented a power point presentation about the libraries at the three schools saying on the average every student checks out 4 books a month.
Jill Luse, filling in for Cathy Bullington who was ill, reported how the art department was doing.
Fran Bond also gave a power point presentation about the P.E./Health department stating more empasis is need to get more students interested in exercise.
And Guy Rumsey reported on the Music department saying nearly 85% of all the student in the three grades were involved with orchestra, choir and/or band.
