VU To Broaden In Corydon

(CORYDON) - Officials from Vincennes University and Harrison County have met to discuss an expansion of the university into the Corydon community.
County Council President Gary Davis says there are some issues that need to be discussed, but he foresees nothing that would block the development.
Instead of a new facility, the university would simply take over the county's existing adult education center.
Davis says the county could provide a $200,000 subsidy for up to 5-years to help the university get established.
