Indiana University Looking For State Money

(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University is requesting $80-million from the state to help launch its life science initiative.
I.U. president Adam Herbert unveiled the request Friday in Bloomington to the State Commission for Higher Education.
The commission is hearing requests from universities over the course of several meetings.
It is expected to vote on a higher education funding plan in November.
