The website works much like E-Bay. A donor can make a contribution to a specific program at a specific school, using a check or credit card, all with a click of the mouse.

Officials with Donors Choose say this is revolutionizing how teachers can gain access to the generosity of others, at a time when public school funding is tighter than ever.
