(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana education officials say the class of 2006 scored six points lower on reading and one point higher on the math portions of the SAT.
Officials say they are "disappointed" with the outcome.
They say changes in the test and students waiting until their senior year to take the SAT's are factors in the scores.
Indiana was among 40 states that saw a decline in reading scores in 2006.
