Government Could Force GM And Chrysler Into Bankruptcy

(UNDATED) - The U.S. Government may force General Motors and Chrysler into bankruptcy in order to receive repayment of $17.4 billion dollars in federal bailout loans.
The automakers reportedly have dismissed calls to reorganize under bankruptcy protection.
GM has several facilities in the state, including a plant in Allen County. Chrysler employs thousands in Kokomo.
