(REYNOLDS) - The company that planned to build an ethanol facility in the White County community known as Biotown, USA is selling its assets.
Verasun Energy Corporation says it has filed notice with the US bankruptcy court in Delaware that it has signed an agreement with Valero Energy to sell substantially all of its assets. That apparently includes a development site in Reynolds.
VEC also selling other facilities, including an operation in the Montgomery County community of Linden. A buyer for that facility has not been identified.
