Last updated on Monday, August 25, 2008
(ELKHART) - Recreational vehicle maker Monaco Coach Corporation is going to keep its chassis-building operation open in Elkhart.
The company had announced last month it was closing three factories in Northern Indiana's Elkhart County, eliminating 1,400 jobs, or about a third of its work force.
The Coburg, Ore.-based company did not say how many people will continue working at the plant.
