Gas Prices Affecting Job Market
Last updated on Monday, May 12, 2008
(INDIANAPOLIS) - While more are looking for jobs thanks to a slow economy, staffing them is becoming a challenge because of high gas prices.
Pete Richason with Revolution Recruiting in Indianapolis says it's a catch-22 - fewer people are willing to commute for work and it in turn makes it tough to staff some positions.
Richason says some companies are able to make up for the high pump prices by offering higher salaries but times are tough.
