Eli Lilly Expands Biotechnology Lab

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Eli Lilly and Company has dedicated its newest and largest biotechnology lab.
Inside the four-story, 475,000 square foot state of the art laboratory, 800 employees will research the next generation of biopharmaceuticals for treating cancer, diabetes and alzheimer's disease.
Executive Director of Bioproduct Research and Development Jerome Kinzel says the building represents an investment in the future.
Ground was broken for the building in 2004.
