(NASHVILLE, TN) - Mental health facilities in Bloomington, Columbus and Nashville, Tennessee have finalized merger plans which, company officials say, would create America’s largest community behavioral health services provider.
Beginning today, Nashville's Centerstone, Bloomington's Center for Behavioral Health and Columbus's Quinco will all operate as one company, to keep the Centerstone name, and be based out of Nashville.
Quinco will merge their Indiana operations with CBH, and the Indiana headquarters will be in Columbus, while the now Centerstone research facility will remain in Bloomington.
The new company now employs 1,500 people, cares for 70,000 patients and maintains 120 locations.
