(FRANKFORT) - Frankfort’s City Light and Power linemen will soon have a chance to show their stuff against their peers from across the nation.
On April 19, four linemen and CLP Superintendent Steve Miller will compete in the eighth annual American Public Power Association's Lineworker's Rodeo at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
This is the first year Frankfort will be represented with a team, and will be joined in the national competition by representatives from Anderson, Mishawaka, Richmond and Peru.
Lineman will be tested in events incorporating the skills they utilize in their profession, both on the ground and atop electric poles.
