Northwest, Delta Approve Merger, Will Become Largest Airline

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The airline with the largest presence at Indianapolis International Airport has agreed to a merger.

Minnesota-based Northwest Airlines and Atlanta-based Delta Airlines are joining to create the world's largest airline.

The boards of both companies have approved the plan.
