Mitsubishi Investing 5.3 Million In Franklin Plant

(FRANKLIN) - Auto parts maker Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Climate Control plans to invest $5.3-million in its Franklin plant to make a new product.
Even as the company is downsizing its Johnson County work force, the investment would protect its future in Franklin, General Manager Bob Francis wrote in a letter to city officials
In September, Mitsubishi Climate Control will close its Greenwood facility which employs 60 workers.
