Group In Japan Promoting South-Central Indiana Business
(MADISON) - A 12-member delegation will be in Japan this weekend to promote business in South-Central Indiana.
Madison Mayor Tim Armstrong says the purpose of the trip is to thank existing businesses and to promote the region for new investment.
Madison is home to Arvin Sango and Madison Precision Products.
Arvin Sango is partly Japanese owned, and Madison Precision Products' owner, Metts Corporation is a Japanese company.
Armstrong says the delegation will bring promotional brochures in Japanese and English for use in presentations.
The South Central Indiana Economic Development Group, a regional marketing organization, put the trip together.
