American Airlines Cancels Flights, Inpects Wiring
(DALLAS) - For a second straight day, American Airlines has canceled hundreds of flights so it can inspect wiring on some of its jets.
The number of scrubbed flights today is 850, more than a third of American's schedule. A handful of flights at Indianapolis International were cancelled, creating travel nightmares for people.
Joel Winningham was on his way home to Dallas from the firefighter's convention in Indy -- he was one of many passengers rerouted to Northwest Airlines, an American Airlines partner.
