United Egg Producers Donate Thousands To Gleaners Food Bank

(UNDATED) - Indiana egg producers just made a massive donation to Gleaners Food Bank of Central Indiana. Thousands of eggs can now go to hungry families in 20 counties.
Gleaners Spokeswoman Pam Altmeyer says this gift is beyond gracious. She says Gleaners, like many food banks across the state, has seen a drop in donations over the past few months.
The United Egg Producers donated more than 12 million eggs to food banks across the country.
