(WHITESTOWN) - Medco Health Solutions says it will add a research center for personalized medicine to the $140-million dollar automated pharmacy it broke ground on Tuesday in Whitestown.

Inside Indiana Business reports that the center will include collaborations between Medco, universities and area pharmacy colleges looking at how to deliver more precise pharmacy care.

Medco is unsure how many new jobs will be generated by the research center. However, the automated pharmacy is expected to employ about 1,300 people.
