Valentine's Day Means Sweet Treats

Last updated on Thursday, February 14, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS) - If a way to a person’s heart is through the stomach, then baked goods are something to consider for Valentine’s Day.

Taylor's Bakery is one of Indy's oldest bakeries. 4th generation owner Drew Allen says cookies, cakes and other treats are great for sharing in the workplace.

Allen says he expects a big rush all day Thursday, especially men looking for that last minute gift. Taylor's accommodates the last minute shopper by baking cake all morning and decorating all day.

Their most popular item is the box of roses cake, a long narrow white cake decorated to look like a box of one dozen roses.
