Study Shows Aging Workforce Presents Challenges To Employers

(VALPARAISO) - A new study warns an aging workforce will present challenges to employers in Northwest Indiana over the next ten years.
The Northwest Indiana Workforce Board commissioned the state of the workforce report.
Our partners at Inside Indiana Business report the study predicts the number of working age adults -- from age 20 to the mid-50s -- will decline by nearly 20,000 by 2017.
With thousands of baby boomers on the brink of retirement, there'll also be losses in accumulated experience.
