Wabash Valley Power Utilizing Water To Generate Energy

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis-based Wabash Valley Power has purchased one of the units at the Wabash River combined-cycle generating station from Duke Energy.
Wabash Valley paid $123-million dollars for the combined-cycle unit located in West Terre Haute. The unit will assist Wabash Valley in serving its 28 local distribution cooperatives and more than 800-thousand customers in a five-state area.
