(STATEHOUSE) - State Treasurer Richard Mourdock says state agencies now have a more efficient way to deposit checks to the state of Indiana.
Remote deposit service allows employees to transmit electronic copies of paper checks directly to the bank, instead of collecting and physically depositing the checks through the treasurer of state's office.
The service is currently used by the Indiana State Police and Department of Insurance.
