Security And Satellite TV Company To Expand Across Hoosier State
(INDIANAPOLIS) - A home technology company that provides security systems and satellite TV service plans to invest $15 million in its Indiana operations and create more than 1,100 jobs over the next five years.
Company President David Lindsey says defender direct currently has about 400 workers in Indiana. The company is a distributor of ADT and GE security systems as well as Dish Network.
Lindsey says the new jobs will have an average salary of $18 an hour and will involve sales, customer service and management.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered the company up to $6 million in performance-based tax credits.
