(HAMMOND) - Federal investigators have raided a Hammond aluminum recycling mill, searching for what the city’s mayor says is evidence in an investigation of air quality violations.
Representatives from the U.S. Attorney's Office and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency confirmed that they executed a search warrant yesterday as part of an investigation of Jupiter Aluminum's recycling operation. They declined to discuss details.
