Outgoing Mayor Takes Over Cardinal Health Fundraising

(MUNCIE) - Outgoing Muncie Mayor Dan Canan will become the new president of Cardinal Health System’s education and fundraising arm.
Cardinal is the parent company of Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. Canan will take over at the BMH Foundation January 2, a day after turning over his office to new mayor Jim Mansfield.
Canan owned a family pharmacy for 15 years before winning his first term as mayor in 1995.
