(INDIANAPOLIS) - This is going to be a very busy day for Indianapolis International Airport as travelers try to reach their destinations before Thanksgiving.
Indianapolis Airport Authority Spokeswoman Susan Sullivan says about 15-thousand-400 passengers will make their way through the terminal. That's actually down just a bit from last year's levels.
The airport expects to serve an estimated 152-thousand passengers through the 11-day Thanksgiving travel period.
Officials remind travelers to arrive at least 90 minutes before departure, have boarding passes and photo ID's readily available, review the list of permitted and prohibited items and always be ready for delays.
