Hoosiers To Spend More This Holiday Season
(UNDATED) - A nationwide holiday retail survey released today by Deloitte and Touche shows that Hoosiers are expected to spend four percent more on gifts this holiday season, but plan to spend 13 percent less on socializing and entertaining at home.
Our partners at Inside Indiana Business report the survey shows that rising energy prices and food costs are expected to impact Hoosier spending this holiday season.
Gift cards are expected to continue to be the number one purchase.
