Cummins Brings Back Laid-Off Workers

(COLUMBUS) - Engine maker Cummins, Incorporated has rehired most of the temporary workers it laid off about a month ago from its midrange engine plant in Bartholomew County.

The Columbus-based company says the layoffs were needed because Chrysler halted Dodge Ram production, but that production has since resumed.
