(BLOOMINGTON) - Talks between Bloomington Hospital and Indianapolis-based Clarian Health Partners over a possible partnership have Bloomington’s mayor concerned about the loss of local control over the area’s largest hospital.

Officials announced last week that they were discussing whether to bring the 385-bed Bloomington hospital into the Clarian fold.

Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan says he's was worried that such a partnership could hurt the community.
