Subprime Market Hurts Home Sales
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Central Indiana home sales are slipping.
FC Tucker Company says sales in the nine-county area around Indianapolis are down seven-percent from last year... and sales last month were off 17-percent.
Real Estate Services President James Litten suggests people got scared off by the implosion of the subprime mortgage market without fully understanding what it is.
Subprime refers to people who get mortgages despite bad credit.
