Study Shows Swearing Boosts Workplace Morale

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A British study says swearing in the workplace boosts morale and team spirit.
University of East Anglia researchers say George Carlin's famous "seven words you can't say on the radio" tend to pop up more frequently at the office.
A sampling of Indianapolis residents finds people skeptical. One woman says it would be a distraction, not a morale-booster. Others agree they hear the "f-bomb" on a semi-regular basis at work, but that doesn't make it acceptable.
The study contends dropping a few curse words can foster solidarity among employees.
