(MARION) - The Indiana Department of Environmental Management is reviewing a proposed eight-thousand hog swine farm that’s generated public outcry among neighbors in Grant County.

More than 50 people met at Matter Park Monday to discuss the proposed concentrated animal feeding operation near Marion, about 60 miles northeast of Indianapolis

Some area residents say they're concerned about the farm's impact on property values, air quality and the health of residents.
