(RICHMOND) - A new refrigerated warehouse for organic food at Cambridge City is bringing one-thousand jobs to Wayne County.

Really Cool Foods says it will build a multi-plant complex, beginning with a commissary and distribution center. Customers will reportedly include Whole Foods, Kroger, Trader Joe's and Giant.

The 2-year-old company will build in the gateway industrial park along I-70, investing $100 million over five to seven years.

Governor Mitch Daniels calls the announcement a sizable economic development for the state.

The company's food research and development department is based in East Hampton, N.Y., and its 20-thousand-square-foot kitchen is in Syosset, N.Y.
