Last updated on Thursday, October 25, 2007
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Navistar International is talking to General Motors about buying the medium-truck business.
Navistar disclosed the talks this morning during a conference with wall street analysts. It's not clear how the purchase would impact Indianapolis operations.
Navistar's operating arm, International Truck and Engine, makes diesels for Ford pickups at a 1600-employee complex on the eastside of Indianapolis.
