Minority Businesses Sought During Convention Center Expansion

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Stadium and Convention Building Authority held an event at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis Thursday to promote more minority and women-owned business participation during the upcoming expansion of the convention center.
It was the fourth of five such events that are being held around the state.
"As with the Lucas Oil Stadium project, we're committed to a goal of 15 percent participation by minority businesses on the convention center expansion, as well as 5 percent by women- owned businesses," said John Klipsch, ISCBA Executive Director.
The fifth and final event is set for October 11th in Evansville.
