Mid-Market Companies Provide A Third Of Jobs And Sales
(UNDATED) - Preliminary results of a study being released by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce shows that while mid-market companies in Indiana make up just 1.8 percent of Indiana-headquartered firms, they account for more than 30-percent of the jobs.
Mid-market companies are defined as those with between five-million dollars and 100-million dollars in annual sales.
Our partners at Inside Indiana Business report that the study also shows that those companies provide nearly 37-percent of total sales for Indiana-based companies.
The "Accelerating Growth in Indiana'S Mid-Market Companies" study shows that mid-market companies also represent a broad section of industries.
