Florida Company Submits Indiana Ethanol Plant Proposal

(SHELBYVILLE) - A Florida company plans to build an ethanol plant in Shelby County.
The permit application by Indiana Biofuels, a subsidiary of Nexgen Biofuels of Florida, was submitted to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management last week for approval.
IDEM has solicited comments from the public but has not yet scheduled a public hearing on the proposed plant just west of Shelbyville.
