Governor And Business Leaders To Travel To Japan
(UNDATED) - Nearly 70 state, business and community leaders will leave soon to take part in a trade trip to Japan. It will be the third such trip in as many years.
Governor Mitch Daniels will also attend the Midwest U.S.-Japan Association Conference in Tokyo during the mission.
He'll also focus on continuing to develop relationships with companies that currently or will soon operate in Indiana, such as Honda, Toyota and Aisin Seiki, as well as call on new customers such as Japan-based SMC Corporation of America, which announced Thursday it would relocate its North American headquarters to Noblesville.
The trip runs from September 7th to the 14th.
